Police are investigating after someone took a hammer to a Squirrel Hill storefront late last week.

It happened Friday morning at Marvista Design and Build on Beechwood Boulevard.

Surveillance footage shows a person hit the window multiple times where a sign was posted.

It said "We Stand With Israel."

Owner Michael Jacobs told the Big K Morning Show the person also smashed the window of one of their trucks.

“I never thought in my wildest dreams that somebody would be so angry about it that they would come over, rip the sign down and then take a hammer and pound on all the glass in front of the building, some miracle the glass didn’t break,” said Jacobs.

He says it’s a concerning time for Jews in Pittsburgh and all over the world.

“Jews are standing proud and we’ll continue to stand proud and we will not let people like this squash us,” said Jacobs.

He says he is putting two more signs up that say "we stand with Israel." Pittsburgh Police are investigating.
