Police in Penn Hills are investigating after shots were fired at an Amazon delivery driver Sunday afternoon.
It was around 2:30 Sunday afternoon when police say two men in a black SUV, dressed in hoodies, pulled up outside a home on Newfield Drive and assaulted an Amazon delivery driver as he was walking back to his truck from delivering a package.
They knocked him to the ground, then drove off, but returned a few minutes later and began firing a gun into the Amazon truck.
Neighbors who heard the shots and noticed the suspicious SUV called police, who later found the vehicle.
But so far, no word on any arrests. Police say nothing was stolen from the Amazon truck.
The motive is still unclear.
