They say Joseph Diamond III attacked a woman in her vehicle in a pull-off area by Route 2230 on the night of December 29.
Diamond is accused of punching the woman along with stabbing and slashing her with a knife.
Diamond then took off with her purse.
Anyone with information should call police.
