A mother is asking for help identifying a vehicle that hit her son during trick or treating in Butler Tuesday night.
Tiffany Hawk says her 4-year-old was hit by what she calls a green Chevrolet Trailblazer just after 6:20 p.m. on Center Avenue.
She says she knows accidents happens but she wants the person to take responsibility.
"My 4-year-old son almost died last night in-front of his parents and siblings."
Luckily, the boy was treated at the hospital and released.
Butler Police say because of the nature of the accident, the person behind the wheel may not even know they hit someone.
