PITTSBURGH (100.1 FM and AM 1020 KDKA) — The Pittsburgh Bureau of Police is reminding Pittsburgh residents that Saturday, April 24 is Prescription Drug Take Back Day.
The initiative is part of the larger National Prescription Drug Take Back Day.
But in Pittsburgh, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., there will be drop boxes available at the police headquarters.
There will also be boxes for drug drop-offs at the stations for all six police zones.
The goal is to allow citizens to have a safe place to dispose of unwanted, unused, or expired prescriptions.
