PITTSBURGH (100.1 FM and AM 1020 KDKA) Ross Twp. Police were called to Ross Park Mall just before 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday for a report of a car jacking.
The incident occurred near the main entrance of the mall, and the suspect has yet to be captured.
According to police, the suspect entered the passenger seat of the victim's Jeep.
The suspect fled the scene without taking anything from the victim, and the victim was not harmed.
The suspect is described as a black male in his late teens or early twenties with dreadlocks and a grey hoodie.
The running Jeep backed into a parked vehicle.
Police have obtained surveillance video and are currently investigating the situation.
