A popular bar/restaurant in Homestead has abruptly closed.
Dorothy 6 on East 8th Avenue has closed for good sooner than planned.
The original closing date was slated for February 28, but "due to unforeseen circumstances" the restaurant announced Monday it's already shuttered.
Named after the former "Big Dorothy" blast furnace at Duquesne Works, the restaurant offered food, beers, cocktails, local music and more for 11 years.
"It's been an extraordinary journey," the owners wrote on its website. "We've closed our doors, but the memories live on."
