Pittsburgh Regional Transit is urging anyone who relies on the "T" to consider using a bus route Tuesday afternoon if they can.
That's after an axle on a rail car derailed at the South Hills Village rail yard.
And that is keeping cars from going in or out of the rail center.
About a quarter of the cars they use for rush hour are in the system, and delays are expected.
PRT says crews are heading to the scene to put the car back on its tracks and inspect the rail.
