It won’t be known as Redbeards anymore, but the space in Mt. Washington looks like it will remain open under a new name.

Last week the bar announced it was closing its Mt. Washington location.

Now, there's word the popular tavern will remain open under a new name.

Shiloh Plate & Pour will have new kitchen equipment and a new menu and Redbeard's employees will stay for the transition.

In a release, business partners and friends Joey DeMarco and Brian Hess announced that Shiloh will be “a must-visit destination for locals and visitors alike.”

The owners plan to reopen the space in April.

“Mount Washington is a special place for both of us,” said DeMarco. “This is where our friendship began, and now we get to bring it full circle. To come back here as partners and breathe new life into this space—it’s a dream come true. We can’t wait to show everyone what we’ve got in store.”
