PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf has promised to lift COVID-19 mitigation orders, with the exception of the mask mandate by May 31.
Washington County Commissioner Diana Irey Vaughan disagrees.
"I think we need to allow them the opportunity to capitalize on spring, people getting out - especially for the holiday weekend," Irey Vaughan said during the KDKA Radio Morning Show.
Before the state fully reopens on Memorial Day, the Wolf administration is relaxing restrictions on events and gatherings. Indoor capacity will bump up from 25 percent to 50 percent, and outdoor capacity is going from 50% to 75%.
Those changes go into effect on May 17.
