While we didn’t get the larger snowfall that was predicted, covered roads made the Monday morning commute a bit tricky.
AAA’s Ellen Gamble says most drivers took their time with minimal accidents reported.
But one SUV crashed into the AdultMart on McKnight Road around 9:25 and police say speed was a factor.
Ross Township Police tell KDKA Radio that the vehicle was going at a high rate of speed, “especially for (the) condition,” Deputy Chief of Police Brian Kohlhepp said.
The business was closed at the time and no one was inside.
Police say the driver had minor injures and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
