A restaurant/bar in Downtown Pittsburgh has been ordered closed by the Allegheny County Health Department.
A Place To Toast on the 600 block of Smithfield Street is closed due to an unpaid civil penalty in the amount of $3,600.
The restaurant was ordered closed in February 2022 because the building it was in was condemned by the City of Pittsburgh.
A new occupancy permit had to be obtained by the Health Department before it could reopen.
A Place To Toast offers brunch, bar food, beer, cocktails, wine and more.
The closure is still active on the Health Department's website as of Monday morning.
