A restaurant on Banksville Road in under Consumer Alert after an inspection.
Mintt Indian cuisine on the 3000 block of Banksville Road in Pittsburgh was hit with 15 violations, including three considered high-risk during an inspection last week.
Those high-risk violations include, a cockroach infestation.
Roaches were found in a ware washing room, in a stored wok, beneath a piece of drywall on the floor, behind a sink, on an oven mitt by a cookline, in a clean silverware organizer, knife holder and under freezers in the kitchen.
Dead cockroaches and droppings were also found.
Also, an employee seen drinking from an open cup while they were preparing raw chicken. That is a repeat violation.
The dishwashing machine didn’t measure any chlorine, dicer blade, blenders and metal pans were found with old food residue still on them.
