Allegheny County Executive Rich Fitzgerald calls Trump a 'sore loser' as elections results are certified

Counties across the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania are certifying their election results today.

December 8th is the date when state election officials will formally turn over Pennsylvania's 20 electoral votes to President-elect Joe Biden.

Today, Allegheny County's Board of Elections voted along party lines to certify local ballots in the November 3rd election, with a 2-1 vote.

Afterwards, Democratic County Executive Rich Fitzgerald had some harsh wards about President Trump. "This sore loser needs to get on board, needs to do what America needs and we need to move forward with a transition."

Trump's campaign attorneys continue to challenge election results with lawsuits here in Pennsylvania and other key battleground states.

"There's five different classifications that are no under litigation. They're at the Supreme Court, eiter at the state level or at the federal level," said Fitzgerald.

If the rulings order any of the excluded ballots to be counted, the board will reconvene to certify them.
