PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation District 11 will be continuing their repaving work on Route 30 on Monday, Nov. 9.
PennDOT had already undergone the project to start improving Route 30 in North Versailles Township, but they will be picking up again.
The operations will feature an 24-hour lane restriction in both directions between Route 148 in East McKeesport and the Westinghouse Bridge in North Versailles.
Work will be done starting on Monday at 6 a.m.
The traffic restrictions will last until Wednesday, Nov. 11.
The repaving being done on Route 30 is part of a $13.59 million "milling and resurfacing" project that will revamp Route 30 between Lenox Avenue in Forest Hills and Route 48 in North Versailles.
Additional work being performed on Route 30 includes "drainage improvements, ADA curb ramp installation, guide rail updates, traffic signal upgrades, and sign and pavement marking installation."
