Someone's $50 purchase of a scratch-off lottery ticket has turned into $5 million.
A $5 million Money Maker ticket from the Pennsylvania Lottery was sold at the Giant Eagle on Centre Avenue in Shady Side.
The Giant Eagle location gets a $10,000 bonus for selling the ticket.
If you have a winning ticket, the lottery asks you to sign the back of the ticket right away and then call the lottery at 1-800-692-7481.
The lottery also recently announced that a Cash 5 ticket that hit last December is set to expire soon.
The $1.65 million prize has gone unclaimed after being sold at Jak Petroleum Company on River Road in Vandergrift.
The ticket that matched all five numbers, 8-12-18-31-35, will expire on December 16, 2022.
