The Bureau of Mine Safety has been called to the scene.

Pennsylvania State Police say 64-year-old Elizabeth Pollard was reported missing early Tuesday morning.

On Monday, she was seen looking for a pet outside a restaurant in Unity Township.

Her vehicle was found nearby around 3 a.m. with a 5-year-old granddaughter inside, unharmed.

Trooper Steve Limani tells KDKA Radio the girl was in the car for hours and was mainly frightened when police found her.

A command post has been set up on Marguerite Road and police say the last time Pollard was seen was 5 p.m. last night.
