There’s been a lot of activity in the Hays bald Eagle nest the past few days.
A second eagled was hatched Tuesday morning just after 7 a.m.
The first eaglet was hatched on Sunday, March 26 and the second will be feeding alongside his sibling soon.

The Audubon Society of Western Pennsylvania says an adult bald eagle will be in the nest all the time, to protect the eaglets with warmth.
Before the second eaglet was hatched, the male eagle brought a huge fish into the nest on Monday afternoon for food for the family.
