
Seven people across the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, including a woman in Pittsburgh are banned from entering all casinos in the state.
The PA Gaming Control Board reports that nine children were left unattended while offenders gambled.
A female at Rivers Casino on the North Side left four children, ages 2, 10, 13 and 13, unattended in a vehicle inside the parking garage for 40 minutes while gambled and watched another person gamble.
At the Mt. Airy Casino Resort, a nine-year-old was left alone for nearly 8 hours over a two-and-a-half days span while a man and woman gambled.
At the Rivers Casino in Philadelphia, two men, in separate incidents left a 5-year-old alone for over 30 minutes and an 11-month-old was left unattended for over 40 minutes.
A 3-year-old was left alone as a man played inside the Live! Philadelphia Hotel and Casino for 10 minutes.
And, at the Parx Casino in Bensalem, a 7-year-old was left alone in a vehicle for over 20 minutes while a man gambled at the sportsbook and played slot machines.
Since the beginning of 2022 through June 2023, there have been 397 incidents of people leaving children unattended while they gambled.
The total number of minors left alone during that time is 633.
