Seven Springs opening slopes this Friday

Seven Springs has snow and is ready to open for the 2024-25 ski season.

Pittsburgh #1 destination for skiing and snowboarding will open on Friday, December 6.

Slopes will be open from 9 a.m. – 9 p.m. on Friday and 8 a.m. – 9 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

“With the arrival of consistently cold temperatures and favorable humidity levels, snowmaking efforts” snowmaking began last week, A spokesperson for Seven Springs announced in a release.

Weekend-only operations will run through December 19.

Seven Springs will be celebrating opening day with “a first chair banner break, a live DJ, complimentary Nature Valley bars, hot cocoa, cookies, and Helly Hansen gift codes for guests on the first and second chairs of the Polar Bear Express.”

Vail Resorts owns Seven Springs, Hidden Valley and Laurel Mountain in the Laurel Highlands.

Visitors to Seven Springs can download the My Epic app for more information on purchasing lift tickets, upcoming events, real-time alerts and more.
