Sunday night's storms dumped a lot of rain in a short time. The National Weather Service says about an inch of rain fell in Wexford in 15 minutes. In all, between one and-a-half and three inches fell, leading to flash flood warnings in the South Hills, Monroeville and West Mifflin. Flooding closed a number of streets including Washington Boulevard and part of Route 51. Nickel-sized to one inch hail came down in Wexford and Ross.
Power issues as a result of the storms has caused the North Park Pool to close Monday.
