Sewickley Council issued a statement Thursday regarding the arrest last weekend of Bruno Guedes da Silva, a man wanted on a felony gun warrant, and whose daughter is also undergoing cancer treatments.
Council says Sewickley wants to acknowledge the concern of many residents about the incident and said they were not notified in advance, and didn't participate in that arrest.
The statement adds that Sewickley does not have an agreement with ice and has no intention of entering into one.
