Shake Shack is coming to Pittsburgh.
The burger chain is opening a location at The Terminal in the Strip District sometime in 2024.
Founded in New York City in 2004, the restaurant has over 400 locations in the United States and around the world, with over 260 in the U.S. alone.
In addition to their various shakes, Shake Shack is also known for its hamburgers, hot dogs, fries, chicken and more.
“Pittsburgh friends - we know it’s taken far too long to bring Shake Shack to this dynamic city,” said Andrew McCaughan, Chief Development Officer at Shake Shack. “We are thrilled to land the first Shack in the Steel City at The Terminal in the iconic Strip District. We can’t wait to open our doors, welcome the community and serve our delicious, freshly made burgers and shakes in 2024.”
There are currently 12 Shake Shack location in Pennsylvania, but they are all around Philadelphia.
