A new report says Shell is exploring a potential sale of its chemical’s assets in Europe and the U.S.
No final decisions on whether to sell have been made.
But, according to the Wall Street Journal, Shell's $15 billion Beaver County petrochemical complex in Monaca is part of the discussions.
The plant has been targeted by environmental activists and nearby residents who have complained about foul smells.
