The day after Thanksgiving is a big day for those that have been itching to hit the slopes.
Seven Springs will open for ski and snowboard season on November 25.
The slopes will be operating daily from 9 a.m. – 9 p.m. Monday-Friday and 8 a.m. – 9 a.m. Saturday and Sunday.
In the offseason, 28 new snowmaking towers were installed and the resort has also transitioned to cashless operations and other scannable technology for passes and tickets.
The following terrain will be available on opening weekend: Wagner, Fawn Lane, Phillip’s Run, Cortina Trail, Lower Stowe, Arctic Blast and Santa’s Bear (no features), Upper Lost Boy, and The Alley with features.
Limited terrain and early season conditions exist.
The Polar Bear Express, Cortina and North Face chairlifts will be operating along with the Beginner Bowl carpet.
Crews started making snow and got some natural snow in the Laurel Highlands beginning last week when temperatures started to fall.
