
The Mayor of Slippery Rock is among those calling for the head of that community's school board to resign, following comments she made on social media about last week's election results.

A profanity-laden post by Heather Scott on Facebook called Trump voters selfish.
Her Facebook page also shows she had donated to an abortion fundraiser by a group called The Satanic Temple.

“I am a Christian, I am entitled to my religious belief and as is she, but our First Amendment rights to speak, our First Amendment rights to practice the religion of our choosing does not guarantee, nor does it oblige others to agree with what it is we do and say,” added Longo.
Longo says he doesn't think Scott should be forced out of office, but that she should step aside as board president.
She tells the Post-Gazette that she was already considering not seeking re-election and also said she would have changed the language on her post had she known it would be screenshot and shared.
