To celebrate 40-years of a Pittsburgh institution, Eat’n Park is giving away free Smiley Cookies on Friday… to everyone!
Eat’n Park says all customers that dine-in or use the pickup window will get a free Smiley Cookie.
All Eat’n Park locations are giving away the cookies with a purchase of food.
The famous cookie has become the face of the popular Pittsburgh-based restaurant.
It was inspired by former chairman Jim Broadhurst, who grew up in Titusville.
Jim would by a large sugar cookie with a green smiley face while on his way home from school when he was growing up.
The Smiley Cookie as officially introduced in 1986 and has become the most recognized part of Eat’n Park’s brand.
Over 8 million Smiley Cookies are baked every year.
