A well-traveled Downtown bridge is set to close tonight. NewsRadio KDKA's Greg McAtee has details:
Monday night at 9, PennDOT crews will close the Smithfield Street Bridge in both directions.
Lane control signs will be replaced during the closure.
During the closure, only emergency vehicles, buses and pedestrians will be permitted on the bridge.
Work is expected to be wrapped up by 6 a.m. Tuesday, just in time for the morning rush hour.

Same detour in the opposite direction
