The son of Steelers founder Art Rooney, Sr. has died.
The Post-Gazette reports that John Rooney, the brother of late Steelers owner Dan Rooney and uncle to current president Art Rooney the second sold all but one percent of his stake in the organization in 2015.
After Rooney Sr. died, each of his five sons, including John owned 16 percent of the organization.
No other details on his death were made available.
