PITTSBURGH (100.1 FM and AM 1020 KDKA) New calls for police action on the South Side after video of a lewd act was posted on social media.
The Foxtail nightclub on Pittsburgh's South Side has shut down after KDKA Radio's Marty Griffin reached out concerning the video that was recorded inside the establishment's Skybar.
The video shows a crowd of people cheering as someone inserts a bottle into a woman's genitals as she lies on the floor partially nude.
County Judge Eugene Ricciardi says that it's time to shut down nuisance bars, bring back a curfew, and limit alcohol sales.
The general manager of Foxtail issued a statement, saying she's repulsed by the lewd act that took place during a private event.
She adds the participants are now banned from the bar for life and a police report has been filed.
UPDATE: Management of the facilities shut down both venues and released a statement.
The management says the climate for nighttime business in the South Side has "regressed to the point of being unstable and... a customer base that is problematic."
