Student Transportation of America (STA) in Pine-Richland is looking to for school bus drivers to join the STA family.
STA will be holding a hiring event on Tuesday, July 13th and Wednesday, July 14th from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. at our Pine-Richland terminal (1110 Middlesex Road, Gibsonia, 724-502-4614). Lunch will be served from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
STA encourages all who are looking for a new career or part time job to attend and learn more about what it takes to become a school bus driver. No school bus experience is necessary, and the company offers competitive wages and paid training to obtain a CDL license.
Recruiting Manager for Western Pennsylvania, Lisa Leavens tells Lynne Hayes-Freeland "Shortages have always been a long standing challenge for the industry as a whole," "district needs are changing often in terms of their routes and student population, many of our seasoned employees are nearing retiring, so having an ongoing recruiting is a requirement and we do it constantly."
Drivers work part-time but earn full-time pay rates and can enjoy their weekends and holidays with family and friends. Those unable to attend the event can learn more at www.stacareers.com.
