Pennsylvania State Police in Mercer say an officer was kicked and bitten by a suspect who was trying to take the officer's taser away from him.
This happened Friday night on Leesburg Grove City Road in Springfield Township.
The officer was responding to reports that someone was firing either a BB gun or air rifle inside a parked car.
22-year-old Austin Davies of New Castle is facing a number of charges including aggravated assault and attempting to disarm a law enforcement officer.
