There’s a new food option in the Pittsburgh area.

Steel Kitchen just opened in Kennedy Township, inside the Kenmar Plaza.

The location used to be a Jiffy Lube, then a Bob’s Donuts and, most recently, a sweet shop.

Owner Mike Dickerson says the food offering is “American contemporary”.

It’s going to range from anywhere from baked macaroni and cheese, greens, ribs, potato salad, linguini, hoagies, wings, burgers, French fries, jalapeno poppers just a little bit of everything,” Dickerson told KDKA Radio.

According to early reviews, the wings are so good, people are having a hard time making it home before eating all of them.

He adds they plan on adding a full breakfast menu and will offer brunch on the weekends.

Right now, Monday – Friday, breakfast sandwiches are available from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. those come with breakfast potatoes, coffee or juice.

Steel Kitchen is open everyday from 10 a.m. – 7 p.m.
