Where’s Doug?
That was the question some sarcastic commenters had after an emu was found wandering around McKeesport over the weekend.
LiMu Emu and Doug are the two popular mascots of Liberty Mutual Insurance.
Sent to our friends over at oneBURGH on Facebook, the large, flightless bird was seen far away from its native Australia. One member of the group sent over some photos that showed the large bird around McKeesport.
According to the Smithsonian, Emus are the second-largest bird on earthy and on average stand over 5-and-a-half feet tall and weigh between 110 and 130-pounds depending on the size and sex of the bird.
The largest bird in the world is the ostrich.
The emu that was found in McKeesport has reportedly been reunited with its owner.
