A Braddock woman is dead after being shot late Sunday night in the Strip District.
Police say it happened a few minutes before 11 p.m. near the intersection of 27th Street and Liberty Avenue.
First responders found 34-year-old Le’Eva Morrison unresponsive on the sidewalk with a gunshot wound to the face.
Officers performed CPR until EMS arrived and took her to a hospital, where Morrison died.
Three people were detained for questioning.
No word yet on any arrests or charges.
