A stretch of dry, sunny weather is expected to end over the weekend with the arrival of ran.

AccuWeather meteorologist Joe Lundberg tells The Big K Morning Show that most of Saturday will remain dry, but rain could start to come through as early as Saturday night. It’s also expected to be windy.

“Sunday’s the day,” said Lundberg. “I think that there’s going to be some showers and thunderstorms around. If there’s going to be severe weather, I think that that’s the most likely time.”

He adds that rain will start to taper off later Sunday afternoon.

That will be followed by colder air coming through Sunday night and Monday with a high around 50.

Then, temperatures climb again into the 70s in the middle of the week before another cool down next weekend.
