A federal grand jury has indicted the men who allegedly posed as attorneys and bail bondsmen to steal $250,000 from their victims.
Roderick Feurtado and Tarek Bouanane, both of Las Vegas, and Roberto Gutierrez, of Reseda, California are facing wire fraud charges.
The US Attorney's office says the trio would call unsuspecting seniors, say a grandchild was in jail and needed money for bail and legal fees and then would go directly to that person's home to collect.
Authorities say they were doing it as recently as September.
