Teachers in the New Kensington-Arnold School District could be on strike next week.
Teachers and other school staff in the district have been without a contract since last September and say they haven't reached a deal despite nearly 20 meetings with board negotiators.
According to New Kensington-Arnold Education Association president Ashley Pujol, the two sides have agreed on all but health care premiums, which she says the board wants to increase for non-union members by 100%.
The organization represents 151 teachers and school staff.
The district's superintendent did not have comment Thursday.
