A teenage boy was stabbed multiple times Tuesday afternoon in Penn Hills.
18-year-old Lucas Proden of Penn Hills has been charged in connection with the stabbing.
Proden faces multiple charges, including attempted homicide, aggravated assault and reckless endangerment.
Authorities were notified around 4:45 p.m. of a stabbing in the 1100 block of Hamil Road.
First responders took the teen to a hospital in critical but stable condition.
The suspect who fled the scene in a vehicle was later involved in a traffic accident and arrested a short time later.
No word yet on that person's identity or charges.
