If you voted by mail-in ballot, and you forgot to date the envelope, your vote will not be counted. But there's a way to fix it.

The state Supreme Court issued an order Saturday defining incorrectly dated and undated mail-in ballots. Allegheny County Executive Rich Fitzgerald says if you sent a mislabeled envelope, there's something you can do to have your vote count:

“You have to go down to the county office building which is on 542 Forbes Avenue, the corner of Forbes and Ross, up to the third floor, take photo ID, they will give you your envelope and you can fix your date,” said Fitzgerald

Head down to the county office building on Forbes Avenue with a photo ID. A county employee will give you your envelope to fix the date.
