PITTSBURGH (100.1 FM and AM 1020 KDKA) — Around 3,500 high-risk seniors traveled to PNC Park on Feb. 20 to get their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
And Saturday will see their return to the park to get the second dose.
The Allegheny Health Network event is open exclusively for the seniors who preregistered for the clinic beforehand.
Held in the Home Plate Club, the clinics have administered 15,000 doses at PNC Park alone.
Furthermore, March 13's event will be the 10th mass distribution event to date, at least in western Pennsylvania.
Saturday's clinic will run from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., with AHN leaders available for interviews until noon.
Reminder: walk-ins are not available; the appointments require prior registration.
