Two men involved in Carrick homicide identified

They were arrested after a crash at BP on Route 51

Two men arrested during an incident at the BP gas station at the base of Duquesne Heights on Route 51 on Monday, related to a homicide in Carrick on Sunday have been identified.

20-year-old Maurice Nelson and 17-year-olf Amier Windsor are charged with criminal homicide in connection to the fatal shooting of 21-year-old Jacob Dienert on the 1900 block of Concordia Street.

Four people were involved in a vehicle that crashed at the BP. All four got out of the car with one person being hit by a police vehicle, left critically injured.

A fourth person was also questioned but no word on any other arrests.
