The Allegheny County Health Department has reported two more cases of Monkeypox bringing its case load to 12.
And the chief of the World Health Organization says the expanding Monkeypox outbreak in more than 70 countries is an "extraordinary" situation that now qualifies as a global emergency.
WHO's Director-General made that decision today after the organization's expert committee didn't reach a consensus.
CBS News Medical Contributor Dr. David Agus says the United States does have Monkeypox vaccines stored, but they have not been distributed.
"There is a Monkeypox specific vaccine that is being distributed, all though the distribution in the United States has been poor in terms of the vaccines getting to the places they are needed".
