First responders rescued two people after a car crashed into a house in Knoxville Tuesday night.
Pittsburgh Public Safety says it happened around 8:30 in the 200 block of Reifert Street.
The car caught fire from the crash, and firefighters had to pull the driver out He was taken to a hospital in stable condition.
A man living on the second floor was not hurt, but the staircase was badly damaged, and he needed help getting out.
He and a woman living on the first floor have been displaced.
The Department of Permits. Licenses, and Inspections is inspecting the integrity of the structure.
Police say they're investigating the crash as a drug overdose.
