Two Pittsburgh Police officers were assaulted while responding to a Shotspotter alert in Garfield.
Public Safety says it happened around 4:20 Wednesday morning at a home in the 5300 block of Cornwall Street.
When they arrived, they saw a domestic disturbance involving multiple people.
Police say a man inside the home was uncooperative and combative and allegedly assaulted the officers as he was being detained.
One officer has a dislocated kneecap, while the other injured his hand.
The suspect was taken into custody and is facing numerous charges.
