Two separate shootings leaves one dead another teen wounded

One man is dead an another was wounded in two separate shootings in the Pittsburgh area Thursday.

A 32-year-old Verona man is dead after a fight and shooting Thursday night in Penn Hills.

A 911 call notified police around 10:30 p.m. of the shooting in the 600 block of Long Road, outside World Class Tavern.

First responders say Andrew Miller was shot in the chest. He died a short time later at a hospital.

Investigators say the shooting followed a fight outside the tavern.

Also, a 17-year-old boy was shot in the leg in Duquesne.

Allegheny County Police say it happened after 5 p.m. in the 600 block of Grant Avenue.

The teen was taken to a hospital in stable condition.
