Two shootings on Wednesday are being investigated in the Pittsburgh area.
An 18-year-old died in a home invasion and shooting Wednesday morning in Homewood.
It happened a few minutes after 10 a.m. at a residence in the 7500 block of Bennett Street.
The homeowner reportedly fired shots at two intruders, fatally wounding the teen, identified as Sir Morgan.
Police say he was found dead next to a house. No word yet on any charges being filed.
In Penn Hills, a person was rushed to a hospital late last night after a shooting.
Police were sent to Lindberg Avenue near Laketon Road around 11 p.m.
after receiving reports of shots fired. No word on the condition of the person taken to a hospital.
