Police are investigating after two separate shootings around the area Tuesday evening.
The Allegheny County Police Department's Homicide Unit responded to a request for assistance in East McKeesport Tuesday afternoon.
First responders found a man shot in the stomach in the 500 block of Woodmont Avenue.
The victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
Detectives have identified everyone involved in the shooting and say there is no danger to the community.
21-year-old Timere Johnson is charged in the shooting. He was taken to Allegheny County Jail for arraignment
And, a man was wounded and two homes were damaged by gunfire Tuesday night in Homewood.
Police were sent around 6:30 p.m. to the 7000 block of Monticello Street after getting a ShotSpotter alert for eight rounds fired.
The man was hit in an arm and was in stable condition.
No one inside the homes was injured and police recovered a firearm and shell casings.
