According to a report from USA Today, Pennsylvania Senator John Fetterman was the person at fault for an accident he and his wife were involved in on Sunday morning.

The news outlet obtained a report from Maryland State Police that says the Junior Democratic Senator was speeding while driving a Chevy Traverse on Interstate 70 in Maryland before 8 a.m. on June 9.

Fetterman was behind the wheel when it hit the rear of another vehicle, per Maryland State Police. Both vehicles involved were traveling west at the time.

Fetterman was treated for a bruised shoulder in the incident and he, along with his wife Gisele were released by Sunday afternoon and were reportedly back at home in Braddock on Monday.

Fetterman posted a video late Monday afternoon saying he and Gisele were doing well.

No charges have been filed in the incident.
