It was a lucky day for someone playing the lottery locally in southwestern Pennsylvania.
A ticket sold in Westmoreland County hit for $1 million in Friday's Mega Million drawing.
The Ticket matched all five numbers, 12-32-49-51-66 but not the Mega ball of 21.
That ticket was sold at the Greensburg Newsstand on West Otterman Street. They earn $5,000 for selling the winning ticket.
Winners of large prizes should sign the back of the ticket immediately and call the lottery at 1-800-692-7481.
Even if you didn't win a big prize, the lottery says over 28,000 other tickets across the state won some sort of prize.
The Mega Millions jackpot did not have a winner for the April 7 drawing. That means the jackpot rises to $441 million or $238.8 million cash.
The next drawing is on Tuesday, April 11.
